Let Summer Begin!

I finished Pre-K! It's summer! So...we went to Dubuque to celebrate. The river, alpine slides, ice cream! Now that's a fabulous start to the summer.

Rockin' Ohio

This weekend we went to Ohio for the very first time! We had a lovely time at a family reunion on Grandma T's side - we played by Lake Erie! We also took time to go to Cleveland, stay in a "fancy" hotel and go to the Rock n' Roll Hall of fame. The highlights were 1) me being so interested in women musicians at the listening stations and 2) Leo testing out his famous John Lennon scream in front of a large crowd. What a perfect weekend we all had.

Food Allergy Free!

Well, do I ever have news to share. I no longer have any food allergies. Mom and Dad tell me that when I was a baby and little toddler, I could not even touch eggs or rice or I'd get sick. Not any more! And to celebrate, Mom made me an entire plate of Rice Krispie treats. So yummy.

And Now We Skate...or Cry

I started back at skating lessons and we thought we'd let Leo try since he did so great this winter on the ice. He started out OK, but was NOT having it. I told Mom that it was not very nice taking pictures of him while he was crying. 

I Suppose We all Have Hobbies...

...but Leo's is a little odd. Dad thought it was a little funny so he made a slo-mo video. I think Mom is really worried he's going to want to be a stunt man when he grows up.

Literacy Tales

It's no surprise that we love our books in this house. Leo - wow, what a long way he's come. And here, he showcases his talents while reading his favorite book. Me? Well - I got a Kindle! And then, I bought 5 books on it without asking my mom first. That takes talent.

Park Time!

One of the greatest days of the year is when it's finally park time! Well, let's just hope we don't get more snow. You never know after this winter.

Wow, what a treat we had this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa T came to Dubuque and we had ALL of our grandparents together in ONE house! How fantastic is that?

Kindergarten Preview

Today was a big day! I got to see my new school. Mom and Dad can't believe that I am going to Kindergarten. What they could believe is just whom I decided to chat up - the Princapal. Ha.

Gibbons Visit

 So Auntie Dina and the girls came to visit and she brought Leo a whole mess of Girl Scout Cookies. He looks pretty happy. We had a great week!

I Got a Job!

Watch out, Dad. I got my first voice over gig! The funniest moment for Dad was when, on the way home, I say, "Does this mean I'm an actor now?!" Dad said, "I guess so." I said, "Ah! That was not my plan!"
