A Lesson in Princesses

We all went to see Franny and her new baby brother today. However, as suspected, I had no interest in her baby brother. "Sigh," says Mom. Seeing the clips below, you can understand why I cried my head off when we had to leave. A tea party, dress up, and a lesson in princesses? Franny know's where it's at.

Gibbons!

The Gibbons family came to visit all the way from Des Moines! Mommy says that she, Auntie and Dina used to get in all sorts of trouble together. Whatever that means. Look at all those girls in one sled! My little brother is going to have to fend for himself!

Happy Haircut

I was getting quite the shaggy do and Mom's bang cutting skills weren't, well cutting it. Once again the professionals had to step in. Grandma T, Mommy & Me went to the salon....

Daddy and Grandpa T had some work to do in my kitchen, so Mommy and me headed to Grammy and Poppy's - as usual, what a weekend!

We brought my sleigh and I helped Poppy fill the bird feeders

Poppy thought it was a good idea to see Curious George who made an appearance at the Mississippi Aquarium. Um, he's a little scary in person.

I was much more in my element touching a crayfish...

It was all so exhausting.

And then I recharged and found the musical instruments.

My Special NYE with Mommy & Daddy

For the last day of the year, Mommy and Daddy to me to the Aquarium. They kept talking about our "last" family outing with 3 people. What on earth are they talking about?! I had a great time looking at the big tank on Dad's shoulders, playing in the tide pools and seeing the whales, dolphins, penguins and seals. I even pointed out an "anemone" to Dad all by myself!

I hope to go here a lot!

We had a fun little party at home to ring in the New Year. I think for every party there should be a candle blown out. It's my thing.

My three day Christmas extravaganza couldn't have ended better than with a lovely day and Grandma and Grandpa T's. I cuddled, opened oodles of presents and played with Charlie the dog. But, there was this weird snowman...

Christmas in Review - part 2

Santa gave me big girl underwear and a play station for Christmas - what a combination. I insisted on wearing the underwear and as you can see, I have a long way to go in the world of potty training.

What little girl gets 2 "sleighs" for Christmas?! Me. And I like to call them sleighs and not sleds. I liked the Fleming's blue one so much that I opened Christmas presents in it all morning.

Uncle Will and Kelly stayed at my house!!

We went to the Christmas market on the 23rd.

On Christmas Eve, Grammy and Poppy came with a huge surprise!!

Little Girl

I went to cousin Rachel's wedding shower today at Auntie Susie's. I had fun on the rocking horse - Mommy loves this picture, but she says it looks like I am growing up too fast!

Bed Head

I have turned into quite the active sleeper. This is evidenced by my morning hairdos. The bed head I am sporting when I emerge from my room at 6:45 every morning is enough to make anyone laugh. Though Mommy and Daddy still say they just want to sleep more. Don't they know I am trying to make them happy and energized when I get up with hair like this?!

My mommy and daddy are very proud. I am already asking for Beatles songs. And I can even sing along to "Here Comes the Sun."

Attempt at a Santa Sighting

Well, Auntie and Mommy got Sophie, Clara, and me all dressed up (spending about 30 min in a mall bathroom, no less) to see Santa and well, he must have been tired because he wasn't there. Mommy and Auntie laughed but it's kind of sad really, the economy must be terrible if they cut Santa's hours! But as you can see, we had fun anyway!

St. Nick

St. Nick came while I was sleeping and gave me lots of great things in my stocking. Uli got a new ball, too. Hopefully St. Nick didn't see my crazy bed-hair...

Snow!

It snowed! Uli refuses to come inside and I learned to make snow angels and snow balls! Poor Daddy, all he does is shovel. I try to help, but shoveling and mittens don't quite go together.

Christmas Cookies, Music & Spinning

I helped Mommy bake some Christmas cookies and I am a great helper. And eater. And Jingle Bell Song singer. And then Daddy and me found a new game...

My New Room!

I got a fancy new room! I do have to share it, but for now that idea seems OK to me. We'll see how I am in a few months when my baby brother gets here!
